While grading practices are all subjective, and we are not professional graders, we try our best to adhere to accepted industry standards. That being said, conditions posted on each listing are based on our best judgment and are not guaranteed. Below is our guide to help you make an informed decision about your purchase. Prices are reflective of the grades assigned to each book listing.

| NM (Near Mint) | 9.2+ |
Minimal accumulation of minor, if any, imperfections. Complete; no tears or stains. Possible minor creases or indentations. Few, if any, spine stress marks. |
| VF+ (Very Fine +) | 8.5 – 9.0 | Small accumulation of minor imperfections or one moderate imperfection. Complete; no tears or stains. Possible creases, indentations, spine stress, minor color rub, spine corner wear, or other related minor imperfections. |
| VF (Very Fine) | 7.0 – 8.0 |
Small to moderate accumulation of minor imperfections or one to two moderate imperfections. Complete. Possible minor tears or stains, color rub or spine corner wear. Probable small amount of creases, indentations, spine stress, or other related minor imperfections. |
| F (Fine) | 5.0 – 6.5 |
Moderate accumulation of minor or small accumulation of moderate imperfections. Complete. Possible tears or stains, color rub or spine wear, writing, staple tears or related imperfections. Probable creases, indentations, spine stress, or other related imperfections. |
| VG (Very Good) | 3.0 – 4.5 |
Moderate accumulation of minor or moderate imperfections. All pages intact, but possible small pieces (most likely corners) could be missing, Possible tears, stains, writing, color rub, spine wear, staple tears or related imperfections. Probable creases, indentations, spine stress, or other related and common imperfections. |

Large accumulation of minor imperfections or moderate accumulation of moderate imperfections. All pages intact, but possible pieces are missing. Possible stains, writing, color rub, staple tears or related imperfections. Probable creases, indentations, spine stress, tears or other related and common imperfections. |
| P (Poor) | 0.5 – 1.0 | Heavy accumulation of minor or moderate imperfections, or one to two major imperfections. Interior pages or pieces may be missing. Writing or drawing could be found inside or on the cover. Significant wear, creasing, staining, and other related imperfections could be found throughout. |
